Academic Position open in Louvain: Chemical processes for sustainable development PDF Print E-mail

The Université catholique de Louvain is looking for a full-time specialist in 'Chemical processes for sustainable development'. The position covering both teaching and research is initially for three years, but can be converted into a permanent post.

The successful candidate will have teaching assignments within the various degree programmes organised by the Faculty of Bioengineering, the Faculty of Sciences and the Louvain School of Engineering, in the following fields:

  • chemical kinetics and multiphasic system thermodynamics
  • process and unitary operation engineering
  • industrial chemistry
  • treatments of gaseous wastes and/or reactor design

The research activities will aim at developing processes based on e.g. membrane technology, production of energy vectors, biomass conversion, renewables chemistry, green chemistry, waste management, etc., which may contribute to sustainable development.
