The Laboratoire de Chimie et Procédés de Polymérisation (LCPP, Lyon) is seeking a highlymotivated postdoctoral researcher to work on a multidisciplinary research project entitled “Towards Colloidal Molecules and Functional Materials”, and funded by the “Agence Nationale de la Recherche” in France.

Within this project, we aim at developing synthetic routes to create multiphasic colloids which are complex and truly innovative assemblies of colloidal particles made of a silica core and at least two different polymers segregated in different pure polymer nodules onto the inorganic surface.

Candidates should have a strong background in colloidal chemistry. They should also have demonstrated interest in polymer synthesis through emulsion or miniemulsion polymerization as well as leadership ability and the capacity to carry out independent research. Experience in inorganic colloids is highly desirable.
