EMMI MATERIALS

EMMI's search engine Search Materials Science Techniques has been expanded and completed. It relates 80 materials properties and 50 charactersation techniques. More data (for example simulation techniques) will be added over time.

It is available under the menu Know-How and Tools > SMS Search.

SMS is a unique search page which allows to select a materials property, and identify characterisation techniques which can measure this property. It also gives basic information about each technique, as well as links to external sources of information, and to the EMMI database Research Equipment and Tools (RET) which is a compendium of equipment available at EMMI partner laboratories.

There is also a link to our Google Customised Search which searches data and instruments on the websites of our members (direct access via menu Contact & Info > Search).
